Managing money

"For my sister's wedding in October, I took an advance of ₹40,000 from my office. I promised to repay it in four monthly installments of ₹10,000 each, which I successfully did. Additionally, I broke my fixed deposit of ₹10,000 and withdrew ₹20,000 from my investments for her wedding. I also saved ₹10,000 from my salary at that time, contributing a total of ₹80,000 to my father for the wedding expenses. Separately, I was also saving money from my salary for my own clothes and jewelry.

After my sister's wedding, I decided to rebuild the ₹10,000 I had withdrawn from my fixed deposit. I am now planning to save that amount.

My short-term goals include:

  1. Saving ₹1,00,000 in a fixed deposit and ₹50,000 in investments. I understand that things may not always go as planned.
  2. Allocating ₹10,000 for my silver anklets (payal).
  3. Acquiring a gold chain and rings worth ₹1,60,000.
  4. Purchasing silver Tulsi plant stand, cow figurine, and toe rings.
  5. Getting silver rings for my feet.
  6. Buying a lehenga for ₹15,000.
  7. Purchasing mojadi shoes for ₹1,000."
